Following a punishment from head coach Nick Saban, a former top recruit has decided to transfer from Alabama.
A day after Saban announced that wide receiver Agiye Hall would remain suspended throughout spring practice, Hall has made the decision to transfer from the Crimson Tide football program.
According to Saban, Hall was suspended due to a violation of team rules.
The 6’3″, 175-pound native of Valrico, Florida arrived at 4-star recruit in their Class of 2021. He was ranked by 247 Sports as the No. 5 receiver and the No. 45 overall player.
Last season, Hall caught 4 passes for 72 yards but with the losses of Jameson Williams, John Metchie III and Slade Bolden, Hall was going to be counted on to play a big role in Alabama’s passing game.
Before signing with Alabama, Hall held close to 40 offers, including from programs such as Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Pitt, Texas and Texas A&M.
Look for Hall to become a major target for Power Five programs all around the country.
