On Tuesday night, Cincinnati guard Mason Madsen announced that he will be transferring to Boston College. Madsen spent his first two years at Cincinnati under two different head coaches.
Madsen (6-foot-4, 190 pounds) committed to Cincinnati with his brother, Gabe. After former head coach John Brannen was fired by UC, Madsen entered the transfer portal before returning to school to play under Wes Miller. After his second season at Cincinnati, Madsen entered the portal again, this time committing to Boston College.
Madsen averaged 3.9 points and 1.3 rebounds, shooting 36 percent from three during his sophomore campaign. Madsen will have three years of eligibility remaining.
