On Tuesday afternoon, UAB and Andy Kennedy picked up LSU transfer guard Eric Gaines. Gaines has three years of eligibility.

Gaines (6-foot-2, 155 pounds) spent two seasons at LSU, averaging 9.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists this past season. Gaines played 63 games for the Tigers. EvanMiya ranked Gaines as the No. 5 transfer in the country.
