Farrell’s Portal Notes: Let’s Break Down The Biggest Recent Portal Commitments

Some thoughts on some recent portal commitments.

WR Dazalin Worsham, Auburn — A solid but not game changing get for Auburn, he will add needed depth and make some key plays.

DE David Abiara, SMU — I love this get for SMU as a big body who can make plays all along the line of scrimmage. He has the potential to be an elite pass rusher.

QB Gerry Bohanan, USF — He showed so much potential at Baylor that this is a steal for USF who landed him at the right time after many QB rooms were full.

DL Casey Rodgers, Oregon — Rodgers was heavily coveted out of the portal as a big man who could shoot the gap and cause issues in the backfield. Oregon won a big battle over USC here.

RB Cody Brown, Virginia — He’s not a burner but he’s a churner and will get extra yards after contact for the Hoos.
