Just days ago, Wichita State transfer Dexter Dennis narrowed his list down to six schools, including Kansas State, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Indiana, Clemson, and Georgia Tech.
Dennis, a 6-foot-5 guard who averaged 8.4 points per game last season as a junior, hit 54 of his 135 three-point attempts this year. The AAC Defensive Player of the Year blocked 24 shots this season, and also had 24 steals. A seasoned veteran, he played four seasons for the Shockers, averaging at least 8.4 points in each of the four. Although his three-point shooting numbers decreased as his career went on, Dennis’ defensive ability as well as his slashing on offense stand out in his game.

Just hours after entering the portal, Dennis heard from over 15 programs, and now, weeks later, he has trimmed his list down to two ACC programs, one Big 12 program, one Big Ten program, and two SEC programs. He has taken visits to Clemson and Indiana in recent weeks. Where will Dennis wind up?
Former Shocker Dexter Dennis has released his list of the final 6 schools and Wichita State did not make the cut.
