Texas A&M Deepens Rotation Through Recent Portal Additions

Published

on

On Friday, Texas A&M received a commitment from Wichita State guard Dexter Dennis, who has started all four years for the Shockers. Buzz Williams and his coaching staff have done a fantastic job at strengthening their rotation over the last month.

TEXAS A&M TRANSFER ADDITIONS:

DEXTER DENNIS, WICHITA STATE

8.4 PTS / 5.0 REB / 1.6 AST

ANDERSSON GARCIA, MISSISSIPPI STATE

4.3 PTS / 4.2 REB / 1.4 AST

JULIUS MARBLE II, MICHIGAN STATE

6.4 PTS / 3.3 REB / 59% FG

KHALEN ROBINSON, ARKANSAS

1.9 PTS / 30 career games at UA

The Aggies, who arguably should’ve made the NCAA Tournament this past season, have revamped their roster for a retool around Tyrece Radford, Henry Coleman and Wade Taylor IV. Texas A&M went on to appear in the NIT Championship, losing to Xavier.

Now, Dennis will be able to come in and replace some of the production lost from the departing Quenton Jackson. Marble should enter himself into the starting lineup as well. Garcia and Robinson can create more depth with their experience.

Texas A&M will be looking to reach the NCAA Tournament next season for the first time under Williams and they have a competitive chance of doing so.

TPR’S PROJECTED LINEUP FOR TEXAS A&M:

WADE TAYLOR IV, G

DEXTER DENNIS, G

TYRECE RADFORD, G

HENRY COLEMAN, F

JULIUS MARBLE II, F
