Following an Elite-8 run, Miami Hurricanes have been a very interesting team to look at during this offseason. From the great pickups of Norchad Omier and Nijel Pack to the drama with Isaiah Wong wanting more NIL money, Miami has had a lot going on but still seem prepared for what’s next.
MIAMI TRANSFER ADDITIONS:

Miami head coach Jim Larranaga has put his team into a great position to compete in the ACC once again in 2023. The Hurricanes lost Kameron McGusty and Charlie Moore, who were key pieces to the tournament run. But thanks to recruiting, the Hurricanes have set themselves up to replace those pieces as best as they can.
Omier spent two seasons at Arkansas State, putting up big-time numbers and winning the 2022 Sun Belt Player of the Year award. The Bluefields, Nicaragua, native averaged 17.9 points, 12.2 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.9 blocks per game. Omier shot 63 percent from the field this past season.
Pack was the go-to guy for Bruce Weber at Kansas State and averaged 17.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists as a sophomore. Pack was named to the All-Big 12 First Team this past season.
Miami can slide Omier and Pack smoothly into the starting rotation next season.
