As reported by Jeff Goodman, Missouri State transfer Isiaih Mosley has now visited Mississippi State and is also considering joining 2022 National Champions Kansas and head coach Bill Self. Mosley has also recently received heavy interest from Kansas State and reportedly just canceled a visit he had scheduled to Texas Tech.
The two-time All-MVC selection averaged 20.4 PPG, 6.2 RPG, and 2.3 APG shooting 50% from the floor and 42% from three as a two-year starter with the Bears and according to Goodman is one of the best players still remaining in the transfer portal.
A very pure and athletic scorer, Mosley is a great one-on-one guard who at 6-foot-5 has the ability to drive at the rim and score from three-point range which last season helped him to become the only player in Division I men’s basketball history to manage the 50-40-90 shooting split with multiple 40-point games throughout the course of the season.
Currently going through the NBA Draft process, Mosley was expected to garner an invitation to the G-League Combine but was unfortunately left off the list which makes a return to college basketball even more likely for the former three-star prospect.
With Kansas loading up on scholarship offers this offseason and some suggesting they might not currently have room for Mosley on the roster, the Missouri native collected a crystal ball prediction to Mississippi State from 247Sports following his visit to Starkville and was previously involved with the Bulldogs during his High School recruiting process.
