Commitments

Former four-star guard Brandon Weston committed to Archie Miller and Rhode Island on Wednesday night, after he missed most of his freshman year at Seton Hall due to injury.

Umoja Gibson, a former Oklahoma guard, transferred to DePaul on Wednesday. Gibson played three seasons at North Texas and most recently two with the Sooners. He averaged over 13 points per game this season.

Dominick Welch, a former St. Bonaventure standout, committed to Nate Oats and Alabama.

Former Long Beach State forward Romelle Mansel committed to Jackson State. Mansel put up 11 points last year in his season-best performance against Hawaii.

George Washington picked up a commitment from former Kansas State guard Maximus Edwards.

Former LSU and Missouri guard Xavier Pinson committed to New Mexico State on Wednesday. A Chicago native, Pinson played three seasons for Mizzou and one season for LSU, averaging 9.8 points per game last year in Baton Rouge.

Former St. Peters forward Clarence Rupert committed to Southern Illinois after playing one season for the Peacocks. Rupert is a 6-foot-8 native of Philadelphia.

Ball State landed Mizzou transfer Jarron Coleman. Coleman began his career at Ball State.

St. Louis landed former Temple forward Jake Forrester.

UT-Arlington signed former Texas A&M player Aaron Cash.

Entries

Duke’s Joey Baker decided to enter the portal on Wednesday after spending four years in Durham. Baker’s entry came on the same day that transfer wing AJ Green visited Duke, which means Green could come in as his replacement. Baker, a 6-foot-6 wing, is a career 38% three-point shooter.
