Published

on

On Thursday, former Virginia Tech forward David N’Guessan narrowed his list down to eight schools: Georgetown, Kansas State, Maryland, Virginia Tech, St. Joe’s, George Washington, UMass, and Rhode Island.

N’Guessan, a native of The Netherlands, stands at 6-foot-9. He appeared in all 36 games for the Hokies this year, averaging over 13 minutes, three points, and two rebounds per game. His best game of the season came against Maine in the team’s season opener, in which he hit all seven of his field-goal attempts, including one three pointer, en route to a 15-point outing.

Prior to his time at Virginia Tech, N’Guessan played prep ball for Mt. Zion Prep, where he earned his way to a three-star national ranking. Out of high school, he held offers from george Mason, DePaul, Howard, Virginia Tech, and others, but ultimately chose the Hokies. Now, he is going through a completely new recruitment, and has taken several visits and narrowed down this list.
