Nebraska Lands Alabama Transfer Stephon Wynn

Published

on

After four years at Alabama, defensive lineman Stephon Wynn will spend his final two seasons of eligibility at Nebraska. The Anderson, SC native chose the Cornhuskers over Texas Tech and Georgia Tech.

Wynn appeared in 21 games and recorded 16 tackles over four seasons in Tuscaloosa, joining the Crimson Tide as a four-star prospect in the class of 2018. The 6-foot-4 redshirt senior becomes the 14th transfer for Nebraska this offseason, joining fellow Alabama transfer Kaine Williams.

Wynn is the third member to join the Cornhuskers’ defensive line through the portal, along with Texas Tech transfer Devin Drew and TCU transfer Ochaun Mathis. Expect the future Cornhusker to provide experience and depth within the front line on defense.
