As first reported by On3’s Joe Tipton, North Carolina transfer Kerwin Walton has cut his list down to five schools. Walton is considering Clemson, Kansas State, Memphis, Oklahoma and Texas Tech.

Walton (6-foot-5, 205 pounds) spent two seasons at UNC, playing one year for Roy Williams and one for Hubert Davis. The Minnesota native averaged 3.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in 31 games for the Tar Heels. Walton appeared in two games during UNC’s run to a National Championship game appearance. Out of high school, Walton was a 4-star prospect, according to 247 Sports. Walton has three years of eligibility remaining.

Walton is one of four Tar Heels that entered the transfer portal. Dawson Garcia headed to Marquette, while Anthony Harris and Ryan McAdoo are still available.
