With each offseason over the past few years, the transfer portal has quietly grown and grown amassing more talent with each passing season all in search of a fresh start or a different situation with a new program.
Currently there are almost 1,000 student-athletes across the college football landscape who have entered their names into the transfer portal ahead of the 2023-24 season. As one twitter user put it “[You’ve] got to be a scientist to figure out the right one for your team”.
