On Friday evening, Louisiana Tech forward Kenneth Lofton Jr. entered his name into the transfer portal. Lofton is a two-time All-Conference USA recipient.
Lofton (6-foot-7, 275 pounds) spent two seasons at Louisiana Tech, putting up great numbers for the Bulldogs. This past year, the Texas native averaged 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
The former Bulldog entered his name into the NBA Draft on March 22 after head coach Eric Konkol left for Tulsa. Lofton will have three years of eligibility remaining if he decides to take his name out of the draft pool.
Lofton should see some elite programs reaching out to him over the next few days.
