Kastrat served as TPR’s Director of Men’s Basketball Outreach and Development in the spring of 2025 before earning the General Manager title for the La Salle men’s basketball team, a member of the Atlantic 10. Kastrat has spent time on staff at La Salle, Radford, Rider, The Hun School, and the Kosovo National Team.
Lorensen worked for TPR as a basketball scout from 2022-23, assisting coaches with transfer portal recruiting, writing articles, and more. He then went on to earn a position with Queens (D1) men’s basketball, before joining the La Salle staff in the Atlantic 10 as a graduate assistant.
Derek Marchione joined The Portal Report in January 2025 as Director of Women’s Basketball Outreach & Development. In his role, he works directly with TPR’s women’s college basketball clients, assisting staffs in their transfer portal recruiting process. Marchione comes to TPR with over 10 years of experience in college basketball. He most recently served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of New Hampshire from 2020-2022. Prior to that, he was the Head Coach at SUNY Sullivan, where he led the Women’s Basketball team to the NJCAA National Tournament and Ranking. Before Sullivan, he held the positions of Head Coach at Putnam Science and Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at Georgian Court University.
