Iowa Transfer Joe Toussaint Commits to West Virginia

Sources tell The Portal Report that Iowa transfer Joe Toussaint is committing to West Virginia. Toussaint confirmed the commitment on his social media accounts on Monday.

Toussaint (6-foot, 190 pounds) spent three seasons at Iowa under head coach Fran McCaffery, appearing in 98 games for the Hawkeyes. The Bronx, NY, native averaged 4.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Toussaint had a 2.3 assist to turnover ratio this past season. Toussaint shot 42 percent from the field, 25 percent from three and 83 percent from the free-throw line.

After visiting Morgantown over the weekend, Toussaint wasted no time. Toussaint will have two years of eligibility remaining.
