George Washington transfer guard Joe Bamisile committed to Oklahoma on Monday evening. Bamisile will need an NCAA waiver to play next season due to transferring twice.
Bamisile (6-foot-4, 195 pounds) averaged 16.3 points, 5.0 rebounds 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals during his only season at Geroge Washington. The Virginia native shot 46 percent from the field and 35 percent from three. Bamisile transferred from Virginia Tech to George Washington last offseason, so the second transfer will need a waiver from the NCAA. If not, Bamisile will play for the Sooners in the 2023-24 season.
Bamisile will have three years of eligibility remaining.
