Last season, The Citadel’s Jason Roche was one of the top three-point shooters in the country as just a freshman.

Roche shot 40% from three-point range, averaging 13.2 points per game in his rookie campaign. He hit 110 of his 277 three-point attempts. Now, having been in the transfer portal for multiple weeks, Roche is nearing a commitment.

Roche told The Portal Report that he is talking with Rice, Missouri, Pittsburgh, Kansas State, and St Bonaventure at this point in his recruitment. He has visited Missouri, and recently zoomed with Kansas State. At the moment, he said, he does not have any more visits planned. He also confirmed that he is not talking with Davidson or Loyola anymore.
