Florida’s Keyontae Johnson Enters Portal Years After Collapse

Published

on

On Sunday, former Florida standout forward Keyontae Johnson entered the transfer portal.

Johnson, an All-SEC selection in 2019, famously collapsed in a game in December of 2020. As he was walking back out to the court after a timeout, he fell face-first to the court and eventually was taken to the hospital. He then missed the remainder of the 2020-21 season, and only appeared in one game this season, serving as an honorary captain on the team’s senior night.

Whether Johnson will be medically cleared to play or not is still up in the air. He was also recently accused of sexual assault in March of 2022.
