Last weekend, Hunter visited Tennessee and is expected to make a visit to Gonzaga in Spokane this weekend. Louisville has reportedly pulled ahead as a favorite for Hunter as there’s some definite interest there. Kansas is expected to make a hard push for Hunter as well.
Crystal ball in for Emoni Bates to Louisville and Travis Graf just said on the radio he thinks Tyrese Hunter will end up at Louisville. Get one more guard and we have a top 25 team

During his one season at Ames, Hunter averaged 11.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in 35 starts. Hunter was a member of the 2021-22 Big 12 All-Freshman team and was crowned the Big 12 Rookie of the Year.
“At 6-foot, Hunter is known as an athletic playmaker who will blow by defenders in the lane with his quickness and can score at the rim with ease all of which has made him one of the top transfers to enter the portal this offseason,” TPR’s Riley Frain said.
