Herm Edwards, ASU Land Vandy Transfer WR Cam Johnson

On Saturday, ASU picked up a commitment from the transfer portal with the addition of former Vanderbilt receiver Camron Johnson.

The former four-star recruit was in the portal since November 2021, but has now found a home in Tempe. He played four seasons in Nashville for the Commodores, racking up ten touchdowns and over 1,200 yards receiving in his career. The 6-foot receiver had at least three touchdowns in each of his last three seasons with the program. In the 2020 season, he set career highs in receptions (56) and receiving yards (545).

Johnson has also played a fair share of special teams throughout his career. returning both punts and kickoffs.
