All was quiet in the transfer portal on Wednesday, with just one new entrant and an SEC bound transfer withdrawing from the NBA Draft. The Portal Report has to you covered with today’s portal news and analysis.

Portal Entrants

Illinois guard Jacob Grandison announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on Tuesday. Grandison spent two seasons at Holy Cross before joining the Illini prior to the 2019 season. The 6-foot-6 senior averaged 9.6 points this past season and was efficient for the Illini, connecting on 45.5 percent from the field and shooting 41.0 percent from three-point range.

Returnees

Southeast Missouri State transfer and Mississippi State commit Eric Reed Jr. is returning to the collegiate ranks, withdrawing from the NBA Draft today. The future Bulldog spent two seasons with the Redhawks, 16.1 points on 41.9 percent shooting as a sophomore. Reed Jr. earned All-OVC First Team honors, starting 29 games and tallying over 32 minutes per contest.
