Texas transfer G Courtney Ramey announced on Friday that he will transfer to Arizona for his final season of college basketball.

Ramey was down to Arizona and WVU, sources told The Portal Report.

“I chose Arizona because of the history of their program and the relationship I developed with Coach [Tommy] Lloyd,” Ramey told Joe Tipton of On3.

Ramey (6-foot-3, 185 pounds) exited the NBA draft on June 1. Ramey averaged 9.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals last season for Chris Beard. Ramey played three seasons under Shaka Smart and one under Beard, appearing in 128 career games for the Longhorns. The St. Louis native shot 40 percent from the field and 35 percent from three.

Ramey has one year of eligibility left.
