On Thursday, Stony Brook standout Tykei Greene entered the transfer portal after four seasons at the mid-major level. Greene, who spent the past two seasons with the Seawolves, began his career at Manhattan.

The 6-foot-4 guard earned All-America East Second Team honors this past season, setting career-highs in every major statistical category. Greene averaged 14.0 points and 8.1 rebounds, shooting 52 percent from the field and 42.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Greene ranked atop the conference in rebounding, also finishing fourth in field-goal percentage and sixth in scoring.

While at Stony Brook, Greene was a staple in their lineup, starting 52 of the 54 games he suited up in for the Seawolves. Over four seasons, the Queens, NY native has appeared in 114 games, making 88 starts. Prior to entering the transfer portal, Greene withdrew his name from the NBA Draft last month. With four years of experience under his belt, he will have one year of eligibility remaining as a grad transfer.
