Another college football week in the books and more transfers making a huge impact. Here are some standouts from week four that stood out to me.
1. QB Adrian Martinez, Kansas State
Martinez completed 21 of 34 passes for 234 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 148 yards and four touchdowns in a huge win over Oklahoma. The Nebraska transfer played lights out.
2. WR Bru McCoy – Tennessee
McCoy, the USC transfer, had five receptions for 102 yards and one touchdown during the Vols huge victory over Florida.
3. Bo Nix, Oregon
The Auburn transfer had another huge game during a 44-41 victory over Washington State with 428 yards and three touchdowns on 33 of 44 passing.
4. QB Robby Ashford
The Oregon transfer completed 12 of 18 passes for 127 yards and also rushed for 46 yards and one touchdown during a 17-14 victory over Missouri that saved Bryan Harsin’s job for at least another week.
5. LB Eric Gentry, USC
The Arizona State transfer had eight tackles, a tackle for a loss and an interception in a hard fought win over Oregon State.
6. TE Baylor Cupp, Texas Tech
The Texas A&M transfer had four receptions for 65 yards and his first Red Raider touchdown during a 37-34 victory over Texas.
7. WR Tayvion Robinson – Kentucky
The Virginia Tech transfer had his best game with the Wildcats against Northern Illinois, finishing with seven receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns.
