Another college football week in the books and more transfers making a huge impact. Here are some standouts from week six that stood out to me.
QB Quinn Ewers, Texas
This is what he was brought from Ohio State to do, beat Oklahoma and he did it in style. He completed 21 of 31 passes for 289 yards and four touchdowns.
RB Jahmyr Gibbs, Alabama
He’s continuing to dominate and was key in the win over A&M. The Georgia Tech transfer rushed for 154 yards on 21 carries and had three receptions for 13 yards.
WR Bru McCoy, Tennessee
McCoy, a USC transfer, has emerged as one of Hendon Hooker’s main men. He had seven receptions for 140 yards in a huge road win at LSU.
DE Eyabi Anoma, Michigan
The Tennessee-Martin transfer had three tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, one sack and two pass breakups in a dominant performance against Indiana.
QB Bo Nix, Oregon
The Auburn transfer continued his strong play as he completed 20 of 25 passes for 265 yards and rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries in another big win.
RB Xazavian Valladay, Arizona State
The Wyoming transfer rushed for 111 yards and one touchdown on 23 carries in a big upset over Washington.
LB Drew Sanders, Arkansas
In a loss to Mississippi State the Alabama transfer continued to dominate continued to dominate with 16 tackles and one pass breakup.
DB Brandon Joseph, Notre Dame
Joseph played a big role in the home win against BYU with a team leading six tackles.
