As the transfer portal continues to fill up with players from all over the country, The Portal Report has some quick recruiting updates on a couple of portal prospects.

Eastern Michigan TE Evan Furtney

Furtney is a 6-foot-4, 230-pound tight end out of Milan, Michigan. He tells TPR, “EKU offered and Lake Erie offered. Grand Valley State, St. Thomas, Walsh, Butler, Mercyhurst, and Wayne State reached out. Indiana and UMass have followed me.”

West Virginia WR Mike Evans Jr.

Evans is a 6-foot-, 185-pound receiver out of Western Pennsylvania who tells TPR that he has received offers from the following: Georgia State, FAMU, Alabama St, Murray State and Texas A&M Commerce.

Vanderbilt RB Maurice Edwards

Edwards is a 6-foot running back out of Gurnee, Illinois. He was on the Commodores’ roster for one season before being dismissed from the team in August. After recently entering the transfer portal, Edwards tells TPR that he has heard from California, Illinois State, and Miami (OH) since entering.

Eastern Michigan TE Cole Rusk

Rusk is a 6-foot-6, 245-pound tight end out of Eastern Michigan. Rusk tells TPR that he has heard from Troy, EKU, Murray State, SIU, and some FBS programs as well.
