The portal is heating up and, as expected, commitments are coming in fast. Here are the best ones from the SEC so far…
1. WR Andrew Armstrong, Arkansas
I love this kid because he’s tall, he has speed and he’s a red zone nightmare to defend. He’s making a large jump from FCS but he has the skills to be an instant impact WR1.
2. WR Theo Wease, Missouri
Wease has been highly rated since high school and has size and downfield skill. He didn’t blow up at Oklahoma as expected but he’s a big target who has shown he has high-level FBS skills.
3. TE McCallan Castles, Tennessee
Dude is a baller with good size and a nice catch radius. He’s also a fiery competitor the fans will love from UC-Davis.
A little trickeration! Ulonzo Gilliam, Jr. with the HB option pass to McCallan Castles for a 22-yard score. The Aggies convert the 2-pt conversion and it's now 24-21, MSU, 3Q 9:58. #GoAgspic.twitter.com/bw4Orw5WfP
Braun is a massive kid at 330 pounds and perfect for what Sam Pittman likes to do, run the football.
5. OL Tanner Bowles, Kentucky
Bowles was very highly ranked out of high school and left home to head to Alabama. But he overshot his skill set and should be an elite tackle at Kentucky where he can get reps.
