Matt Rhule continues to add talent from the Transfer Portal. Today, he collected a massive pickup from the defending Nation Champion in Georgia. Massive is an appropriate adjective as today’s pickup is 6’8″ 350lb offensive lineman Jacob Hood.
Hood was a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ recruit coming out of high school in the recruiting Class of 2022. Hood chose the Bulldogs over other national powers such as Miami, Florida, Ole Miss, and Auburn, all places he took visits.
Hood entered the transfer portal on January 13th, nearly a year to the day after he enrolled at Georgia.
The Georgia transfer is expected to come in and immediately compete for playing time at Nebraska, playing at either tackle spot. The Cornhuskers could be in line for a rebound season with their massive portal haul this offseason.
