Here are five transfers to watch out for during week eight of the college football season.

Zy Alexander – CB, LSU

Season Stats: 39 total tackles, 1 INT

Alexander had one of the best defensive performances last week, recording nine tackles and two passes defended. Alexander looks to help get the Tigers back into the playoff hunt despite two losses.

Dillon Gabriel – QB, Oklahoma

Season Stats: 1,878 pass. yards, 16 pass. TD, 2 INT, 72% completion rate, 208 rush. yards, 5 rush. TD

Gabriel is preparing to play his former school in UCF on Saturday in Norman. Gabriel spent three seasons with the Knights. The Oklahoma QB looks to keep the Sooners undefeated.

AJ Haulcy – DB, Houston

Season Stats: 43 total tackles, 0.5 TLF

Haulcy was one of TPR’s heavy hitters of the week as he had 15 tackles against West Virginia. Haulcy and Houston will host Texas this weekend in hopes of upsetting the in-state opponent.

Michael Penix Jr. – QB, Washington

Season Stats: 2,301 pass. yards, 20 pass. TD, 3 INT, 72% completion rate

Penix has emerged as the top Heisman candidate according to the sports books. Washington is looking to reach the College Football Playoff for the first time since 2016.

Tez Walker – WR, North Carolina

Season Stats: 175 rec. yards, 3 TD

Walker was ruled eligible finally after a month and a half. After two games, Walker has brought another target to UNC for Drake Maye.
