Let’s look at the top transfer shooters this year in college hoops. These players are all looking to make a huge impact on the outside at their new programs this year.

10 – DJ Davis – Butler

Davis: 88 3PM last year on 40% from three.

9 – Nicolas Timberlake – Kansas

Timberlake hit 92 threes last year at a 42% clip.

8 – Quincy Olivari – Xavier

Olivari hit 36% of his threes last year at Rice, making 94.

7 – Brycen Long – Arizona State

Shot 42% from beyond the arch (94-226).

6 – Jalen Cone – California

40% from three. Hit 96 threes last year!

5 – Daniel Ortiz – UAB

Ortiz: 105 3PM on 41% from deep.

4 – Max Abmas – Texas

Abmas hit 119 threes a year ago at Oral Roberts, shooting 37% from deep.

3 – Tylor Perry – Kansas State

Hit 112 of his 271 attempts from deep (41%).

2 – Ja’Monta Black – Austin Peay

Black hit a portal-best 122 threes last year, shooting 37% from deep.

1 – Steven Ashworth – Creighton

111 of 256 from three last year at Utah State (43%).


Joe Girard – Clemson

Girard hit 38% of his threes last year with Syracuse, knocking down 88 shots from beyond the arch. The year before, he hit 89 threes.

Wood shot 40% from downtown last year at Portland (75 for 186).

Cam Spencer – UConn
