Jayden Epps, G – Georgetown
Secret scrimmages have become a staple of the college basketball preseason. Some take them for a grain of salt, while others jump to conclusions on their teams based on the result. Regardless, Illinois transfer Jayden Epps showcased his skills for Georgetown as the Hoyas defeated Wake Forest. Epps scored 46 points in the scrimmage, per John Fanta. Epps shot 15-of-24 from the field and dished out four assists as well.
Hunter Sallis, G – Wake Forest
Wake Forest and Steve Forbes have done quite the job developing transfers over the past couple years. Now, Wake Forest has Gonzaga transfer Hunter Sallis, who went off in their exhibition against Alabama. Sallis scored 27 points in the Demon Deacons win on Sunday.
