With over 1,000 players entering the portal within the first 24 hours of opening, some huge names will be finding a new home for the 2024 season. TPR highlights the big-name transfer stars to watch below.

  • Walter Nolen, Texas A&M

An absolute beast in the trenches, Nolen was the No.1 overall recruit in the 2022 class. Nolen went for 37 tackles and four sacks from his defensive tackle position and will make an immediate impact on his new home.

  • Dante Moore, UCLA

Moore, another top recruit, was No.5 in the 2023 class according to 247Sports. After announcing his commitment to Oregon on July 8th of 2022, the ultra-talented signal caller flipped his commitment to UCLA on December 19th of the same year. Look for hometown Michigan to snag the former 5-star quarterback.

  • Julian Fleming, Ohio State

The highest rated offensive player out of HS in this year’s transfer class, Fleming has yet to showcase his full potential due to a receiver loaded Buckeyes team. However, Fleming has immense talent and will look to showcase it for his new squad.

  • LT Overton, Texas A&M

Overton is the second A&M defensive tackle on this list and the loss of both Overton and Nolen will leave a huge hole in A&M’s front line. After only playing seven games for the Aggies last season, expect the transfer sophomore to have a much bigger impact in 2024.

  • DJ Uiagalelei, Oregon State

After the departure of head coach Jonathan Smith, Uiagalelei announced he would be entering the portal. The two-time transfer had a great year with the Beavs last year and is favored to join his head coach at Michigan State.

  • Raheim Sanders, Arkansas

An absolute workhorse at running back, Sanders racked up 1,443 and 10 touchdowns on the ground while carrying a whopping 222 times. Although Sanders missed significant time in 2023 due to injury, expect Raheim to tear up defenses again in 2024.

  • Dillon Gabriel, Oklahoma

After two great seasons with Oklahoma, the Hawaii native is on the move again. And this time, it is looking like he may just follow in the footsteps of his mentor, Marcus Mariota. After Bo Nix provided two years of brilliance for the Ducks, they are looking for a new signal caller and it looks like Gabriel may just be the answer.
