Recruiting Notebook: The Transfer Portal Keeps Churning Along

As another week of College Football Transfer Portal action comes to a close, here’s our fourth rendition of the Recruiting Notebook to track interest and offers from TPR’s top portal entries/commits from around the country.

Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams, RB – UMass

After notching 1,157 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns this season, Lynch-Adams has had several power-5 schools in contact such as Ole Miss, Syracuse, and more.

 

Ayo Adeyi, RB – North Texas

Managing 1,017 rushing yards, six touchdowns, on 143 carries, Adeyi is ready for a jump to the power-5 level with UNC, Cal, Georgia Tech, Boston College, and more all making recent contact.

 

Anquin Barnes, DT – Alabama

The former Crimson Tide interior defensive lineman already has offers from the likes of SMU, Houston, Georgia Tech, and Indiana, with schools like Florida, LSU, Florida State and more taking interest.

 

Terian Williams, S/DB – Stanford

The versatile safety/defensive back entered the portal just this week and has already been receiving interest from USC, Cal, Tennessee, Duke and more after having to redshirt his freshman season. 

Jase Bauer, QB – Central Michigan

After passing for 1,881 yards, 12 touchdowns, another ten TD’s on the ground, and just eight interceptions, Bauer has been hearing from a couple high-level programs such as Baylor and Washington State.

 

Kylin James, RB – Central Arkansas

Colorado and Arkansas alongside several other FCS schools have already been in touch with the former Bear running back after battling for 425 rushing yards and ten total touchdowns over this past season. 

Chidozie Nwankwo, DT – Houston

In his first season of Big 12 action with the Cougars, Nwankwo proved he belonged behind 25 total tackles, a pair of sacks, and even a blocked kick, all of which has the power-6 programs calling this offseason.

 

Cedric Melton, OT – Ole Miss

One of the nation’s top offensive line transfers, the Houston, Texas native played 19 games for the Rebels this past season and since entering the portal, has already heard from Pitt, Baylor, and Syracuse with offers from Houston and UTSA.
