8.) Isaiah Swope – Indiana State

FPTS/G: 32.0

The 2022-23 All-OVC First Team selection has helped the Sycamores to an 11-1 start as the team’s leading-scorer averaging 19 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 2 APG, 2 STLPG, while shooting 44% from three-point range. While Indiana State opened the season with a loss to Alabama, Swope and Co. haven’t looked back now pushing a nine game win streak that’s just seen victories over Bradley, Ball State, and Tennessee State on Monday.

For Swope, his career-year on the offensive end is best highlighted by his 21 points to led a comeback win over Pepperdine, dropping 26 points to defeat Toledo, and a 27-point, 10-rebound double-double over Northern Illinois.

7.) Sahvir Wheeler – Washington

FPTS/G: 33.1

The former Georgia and Kentucky guard is off to a career-best start in Seattle, averaging 16.4 PPG, 3.7 RPG for the Huskies, while sitting fifth nationally in assists with 7.3 APG to start the campaign. Since joining the Huskies this offseason, Wheeler has already managed several very impressive performances with 13 points and 12 assists against No. 20 Colorado State, 16 points to help defeat No. 8 Gonzaga, and 19 points and 14 assists in a recent double-OT win against Seattle.

For his consecutive performances against Gonzaga and Seattle, Wheeler was honored with his very first Pac-12 Player of the Week award.
