6. Beaux Collins, Clemson to Notre Dame
A four-star receiver out of St. John Bosco, Collins hoped to be a star for the Tigers when he decided to commit there in 2020. Although Collins was solid, he never panned out to his full potential, going for over 500 yards in a season just once in his three years at Clemson.
However, Collins possesses all the natural talent in the world. The 6-3 receiver is outstanding on highly contested passes, using his size and strength to simply outmuscle smaller defensive backs. The Fighting Irish added Duke transfer Riley Leonard to replace fellow transfer quarterback Sam Hartman. Collins and Leonard will look to light it up together in their first season in South Bend.
5. Myles Price, Texas Tech to Indiana
A huge get for new head coach Curt Cignetti, Price looks to be the number one option for the Hoosiers passing attack in 2024. The Texas native has been a reliable target for the Red Raiders for four seasons, capping it with 410 yards and five touchdowns last season.
Indiana has struggled to find its footing following the departure of Heisman finalist and CFP contender Michael Penix Jr. However, Coach Cignetti landed Kurtis Rourke, the former Ohio quarterback in the transfer portal. Expect Rourke and Price to have a huge immediate impact on this offense and with the talent Cignetti has brought in already, I expect IU to be back on track in no time.
