With the college football transfer portal window quickly coming to an end, here’s an updated look at the top 20 running backs still currently available in the portal.

20.) Jaylon Jackson, Eastern Michigan

Total Career FPTS: 190.8

Having just entered the transfer portal late into December, the Burleson, TX native has already received offers from East Carolina, UTEP, Ohio, after back-to-back All-MAC selections.

19.) John Lee Eldridge III, Air Force

Total Career FPTS: 200.4

With three season spent under head coach Troy Calhoun, Eldridge has a career statline of 1,386 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns on 186 attempts, but realistically, need you see anymore than this run:

18.) Ja’Quinden Jackson, Utah

Total Career FPTS: 204.0

After committing to Texas as a four-star QB out of high school, transferring to Utah in 2021, and then becoming a running back in 2022, Jackson now has 14 career rushing TD’s and 1,358 rushing yards.

17.) Jobi Malary, Portland State

Total Career FPTS: 205.4

Despite battling injuries, the former walk on has amassed 1,124 rushing yards on 173 attempts, 16 rushing touchdowns, and averaged 6.5 yards/attempts during his 19 career appearances for the Vikings

T-15.) Aaron Young, Rutgers

Total Career FPTS: 207.4

Spending the last five seasons as a Scarlet Knight, including an injury ridden 2022 campaign, the Coatesville, PA native has seven career rushing touchdowns, 586 rushing yards, and will now look for an opportunity outside the Big Ten.
