Utah State Transfers Look to Reach NCAA Tournament First Year with Sprinkle

Utah State made their AP poll debut on Monday afternoon. The Aggies are led by first-year head coach Danny Sprinkle, who came by way of Montana State last offseason. Sprinkle has a team formed around the transfer portal as USU sits at 14-1.

Utah State has quality wins over Colorado State (77-72), San Francisco (54-53), Akron (65-62) and Santa Clara (84-82). Their only loss comes from Bradley during the first week of the season. Utah State has been a top offensive team in the country, ranking 13th in field goal percentage at 50.1%. The Aggies will look to improve their Mountain West record as they play Wyoming and UNLV this week.
