Top 10 Big 12 Transfer Scorers: Update

Here’s an updated look at the Top 10 Big 12 Transfer Scorers heading into the final stretch of the 2023/24 conference campaign:

10.) Javian McCollum – Oklahoma

After leading Siena to a third-place finish in the MAAC last season, McCollum has handled the jump to the power-5 with ease leading the Sooners to an 18-7 record while averaging a team-leading 14.0 PPG. Starting all 25 of Oklahoma’s contests this season, McCollum was critical during the non-conference slate highlighted by 20 points in a win over Arkansas, and deep into conference play with recent wins over Kansas State and BYU with 20+ point efforts.

9.) Javon Small – Oklahoma State

Finishing as East Carolina’s leading-scorer in 2022/23, Small has quickly become a leader for this struggling Oklahoma State program, averaging a team-high 14.2 PPG despite bolstering a 10-14 record. However, just a junior, Small will maintain additional seasons of eligibility and can offer a lot to the future of this program as the Cowboys hit the rebuilding trail this offseason aided by a young core of Small, Eric Dailey Jr., and Brandon Garrison.
