At just about the halfway point of the 2024-24 college basketball season we’ve already had some unforgettable scoring performances including a recent 35-point effort from Delaware’s John Camden. Of course, it’s not the only electrifying showing from a transfer this season with some of the nation’s leaders in scoring representing portal additions from this past offseason.
As the non-conference slate gives way to conference play across the country, here’s an updated look at the top-10 transfer portal scorers so far this season.

Averaging 19.2 PPG, 4.9 RPG and 4.9 APG, the former East Carolina and Oklahoma State guard is currently 34th nationally in scoring while sitting eighth in the kenpom.com Player of the Year standings. Although Small has managed double-digits in all 12 of his appearances, his best scoring performance came earlier this season with a 31-point outpouring to lead the Mountaineers on an 86-78 overtime upset of No. 3 Gonzaga.
9.) Brian Moore Jr. – Norfolk State
Over the past few season’s under head coach Robert Jones the Norfolk State point guard position has become one of the most coveted sports for transfer portal prospects with Moore signaling the program’s next success story. Averaging 19.3 PPG as the 29th highest scorer in the nation, Moore was recently honored as the Lou Henson National Player of the Week after dropping 33 points to lead an upset at High Point.
