After recently entering the transfer portal, former Fordham guard Kam’ron Cunningham has heard from the Portland State staff, he told The Portal Report.

Cunningham, a 6-foot-7 guard, played in 19 games for the Rams this season. Since entering the portal, he has heard from Portland State and several other programs.

Prior to his career there, he played at Daytona State College (JUCO) and Mississippi Valley State. At Mississippi Valley, he averaged 9.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. His best game came late in that season, when he posted a 34-point showing against Alabama State.

George Michalowski co-founded The Portal Report in 2022 with the goal of creating a media outlet completely focused on the transfer portal recruiting scene. In addition to his role with The Portal Report, Michalowski now works for Pittsburgh Sports Now as the site’s Pitt basketball beat writer and PrepHoops as a Pennsylvania high school basketball scout.
