Oregon Transfer Eric Williams Jr. Says Five Programs Prioritizing Him, Focuses on Pro Route

Eric Williams is one of the biggest names in the transfer portal.

The 6-foot-7 guard played two seasons for Duquesne to start his career, and now two for Oregon. This past season, he scored over eight points per game for the Ducks.

Since entering the portal, Williams has heard from Arkansas, Texas Tech, Georgia, DePaul, Memphis, and about 20 more, he told The Portal Report. While he has heard from many more schools, Williams identified those schools as programs that are targeting him often.

“I have heard from 20+ schools, I am just not considering a lot.” Williams told TPR. “I’m training to go pro as of now but I haven’t signed with an agent yet so I’m still deciding.”
