On Monday, Jalen Hawkins updated The Portal Report with a new list of schools that are recruiting him.
Weeks into his time in the portal, Hawkins is now additionally hearing from Rhode Island, Drake, FIU Morgan State, NC A&T, Bowling Green, Stetson, and UNC Asheville, he told TPR.
Days after entering the portal, Hawkins heard from Clemson, New Mexico State, South Florida, Missouri St., UNH, Prairieview A&M, UNCW, San Francisco, Georgia St., SIU, UNI, Buffalo, and more.
Hawkins is a 6-foot-2 guard who averaged 13.1 points and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 36% from three-point range this season. He played one year at Robert Morris, then two years at Norfolk State, and is now in the portal looking for a new home.
