What’s The Latest on Transfer Forward Osun Osunniyi?

on

Osun Osunniyi entered the transfer portal weeks ago, and is in the middle of a jam-packed recruitment.

Osunniyi played four seasons for Saint Bonaventure, averaging more than ten points per game in each of his last three years with the program. The 6-foot-10 forward earned All A10 honors three times in his career, and was a four-time All-Defense selection in the conference. With over 90 starts, 1,000 points, and 890 rebounds in his career, Osunniyi is clearly one of the most talented bigs still available in the portal. He has reportedly received interest from Iowa State, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, LSU, Maryland, Texas, Iowa, Florida, and more.

Examining the Recruitment of Former St. Bonaventure Guard Kyle Lofton

He recently took an official visit to Florida alongside former Bonnies teammate Kyle Lofton. He is also testing the NBA Draft waters, but was not included in Sports Illustrated’s recent top 100 NBA Draft Prospects rankings.

It appears as though Osunniyi’s recruitment is an open race as of now, and it should be a fun one to follow over the next few weeks.
