Courtney Ramey, a 6-foot-3 guard out of St. Louis, Missouri, is one of the top available guards in the transfer portal.
Ramey played four seasons at Texas, contributing in a significant role in each of the four. He averaged at least 10 points per game in two of the seasons, posting a career high 12.2 points per game in his junior season in 2020-21. This year for the Longhorns, Ramey 39% from both the field and three-point range, averaging 8.1 points, 3.1 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game.
According to Rivals, Ramey is currently being recruited by Wake Forest, Georgetown, Tennessee, Gonzaga, Kansas, Marquette, Maryland, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, San Diego State, Illinois, Cal, SMU, West Virginia, Villanova, Ohio State, and Xavier.
Where will Ramey end up? With one of the most crowded recruitments in the entire transfer portal, Ramey’s name will be one to watch over the course of his recruitment this offseason.
