Heading into the weekend, it was a quiet transfer portal day with New Jersey Tech leaving the big winners as head coach Brian Kennedy made two big picks-ups followed by one addition for IUPUI. Commitments

After one season at Arizona State and another at Northern Illinois, graduate transfer Chris Osten will be heading to IUPUI with his final year of eligibility. Osten jumped onto the collegiate basketball scene at the NAIA level with Louisiana State-Alexandria before moving to Divison I where he’s averaged 2.3 PPG, 2.1 RPG, and .2 APG.

The first of two additions for NJIT today, Raheim Sullivan will be leaving Marist for his graduate year following two seasons as a starter for the Red Foxes averaging 8.7 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 2.1 APG. A highly effective scorer, Sullivan has been known to navigate the offense for head coach John Dunne and will occasionally drop 20+ point outbursts including a 23-point, four rebound performance over American.

In NJIT’s second addition of the afternoon, Kevin Osawe will also be joining the Highlanders with experience playing both at Western Kentucky and Little Rock averaging 6.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG, and .9 APG coming off the bench for the Trojans last season. Osawe started in the NJCAA at Vincennes University where he earned Third Team All-American honors as a member of the school’s 2018-19 National Championship team.
