On Wednesday, former Vanderbilt wing Shane Dezonie committed to Temple, weeks after de-committing from nearby St. Joe’s.

Dezonie is a 6-foot-5 guard who averaged just over two points per game for Vanderbilt this past season. He drained 14 of 25 three-point attempts on the year, and prior to his college career, he was a four-star recruit in high school. After playing his high school ball at Hudson Catholic, he transferred to Brewster Academy for the final season of his prep career.

After entering the portal, Dezonie heard from San Diego State, Temple, Colorado State, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, UNLV, St. Bonaventure, and more, but has now made his mind up and committed to the Owls.
