The best from the portal so far in the Big Ten
- LB Jacoby Windmon (Michigan State/UNLV) Windmon has been one of the more dominant defensive players in the country and arguably the best transfer find in this cycle. He has 6.5 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks (FBS leading), four forced fumbles (FBS leading) and one fumble recovery.
- WR Charlie Jones (Purdue/Iowa) Already with as many receptions this season as he had in 14 games at Iowa in 2021, Jones is off to an amazing start and is badly missed in that Hawkeyes offense.
- RB Jalen Berger (Michigan State/Wisconsin) He and Jarek Broussard (Colorado) have been a great 1-2 punch but Berger has led the way with 227 yards and 4 scores.
- OL Olusegan Okuwatimi (Michigan/Virginia) The Michigan offensive line hasn’t played anyone yet but UVa clearly misses this man greatly and he’s one of the top linemen in the conference.
- QB Casey Thompson (Nebraska/Texas) Nebraska stinks but Thompson has still been solid with 866 yards passing.
