College Football Transfers of the Week

Another college football week in the books and more transfers making a huge impact. Here are some standouts from week 11 that stood out to me. 

1 QB Michael Penix Jr., Washington

The Indiana transfer completed 26 of 35 passes for 408 yards and two touchdowns in a huge win over Oregon. 

2 RB Montrell Johnson Jr., Florida 

The Louisiana transfer rushed for 161 yards and one touchdown on 24 carries during a 38-6 drilling of South Carolina.

3 QB Bo Nix, Oregon

The Auburn transfer completed 19 of 27 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 59 yards and one touchdown in a loss to Washington. 

4 LB Johnny Hodges, TCU

The Navy transfer finished with a team-high 11 tackles and 1.5 tackles for a loss during a 17-10 victory over Texas.

5 LB Drew Sanders, Arkansas

The Alabama transfer had a team leading 12 tackles, plus one tackle for a loss and one sack in a tough loss to LSU. 

6 QB John Rhys Plumlee, UC

The Ole Miss transfer passed for 132 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns during a 38-31 victory over Tulane. 

7 WR Bru McCoy, Tennessee

McCoy, a USC transfer, finished with nine receptions for 111 yards during a 66-24 victory over Missouri.

8 LB Jasir Cox, West Virginia

Cox, a North Dakota State transfer, finished with 12 tackles, one tackle for a loss and one pass break-up during a 23-20 victory over Oklahoma.

9 DB Isheem Young, Ole Miss

The Iowa State transfer had nine tackles, one tackle for a loss and one sack during a loss to Alabama. 

10 QB Jayden de Laura, Arizona

The Washington State transfer completed 22 of 28 passes for 315 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for a touchdown in a upset over UCLA.
