Top Upcoming Portal Entries in College Football

With coaching changes and the end of the season there is a lot of activity to be had in the transfer portal world. Keep an eye on these guys who have said they will enter in a week or so, some sooner.

1. WR Dominic Lovett, Missouri

The speedy wide receiver is a big play waiting to happen as evidenced by his 15.1 yards-per-catch average. He was third in receiving yards in the SEC this season. Hailing from St. Louis he will probably land at a big-time Power Five school with Alabama and Southern Cal early mentions.

2. DB JQ Hardaway, Cincinnati — He will likely enter Monday and can do so immediately because of Luke Fickell’s decision to leave for Wisconsin. He could very well end up with the Badgers but keep in mind he is from Alabama and Auburn, Tennessee and others were involved.

3. QB Jeff Sims, Georgia Tech

The Florida QB could land anywhere as an experienced signal caller. Maryland and Auburn were involved out of high school among others after new FSU coach Mike Norvell dropped him from that Noles class but QBs can go all over the country so early speculation is a guess.

4. RB LJ Johnson, Texas A&M

LSU and Oklahoma missed on him when he chose the Aggies in the 2021 class as a near 5 star talent. He will find a home likely close to or in his home state of Texas.

5. DB Myles Slusher, Arkansas

Slusher hails from Oklahoma and should be popular despite an arrest for Disorderly Conduct in November. It was said he quit the Hawgs but he has denied that. He’s a very productive tackler and can blitz.
